The district of Le Canon in Cap-Ferret

An activity to do to your heart’s content during your first visit of the city! If you wish to continue your walk, try to descend to the huts located at the edge of the Bay of Arcachon. From there, you can allow yourself the luxury of  tasting the famous oysters and seafood that make the famous Cap-Ferret!

In spring and summer, the place remains magic! The highly contrasted oyster huts in the Canton decoration add a little extra to the embellishment of the landscape. A visit to the main alleys covered with oyster shells is simply amazing! You will also feel the essences of the mimosa that will make you dive into a pleasantly perfumed world!

The district of Le Canton has among other things, a small intimate beach that is favorably accessible to all tides in the heart of the bay. Despite its small size, the site is quickly invaded by tourists, but if you think that you woul leave earlier, you certainly spend a beautiful day in front of the famous Bay of Arcachon. One of the peculiarities that makes the Canton's reputation is the existence of its legendary jetty where you can take a shuttle or a boat to begin the exploration of the jewels of the great blue lagoon.
