Its oyster-farming village is made up of colorful cabins, the main alley dotted with oyster shells, mimosas in bloom, everything is there to immerse you in a world apart, for the time of an oyster tasting facing the Basin. Le Canon also has a pier, from where you can leave by shuttle or boat to discover the treasures of the Bassin d'Arcachon. Walks on the sand along the oyster traps are possible at low tide. On the basin side, a beach is accessible at all tides in the middle of the bay The only sector of the peninsula benefiting from a cycle path crossing the national forest, you can reach the ocean beaches of Truc vert and Garonne in a few minutes by bike.
